Step 3: Buy Button
SellDirect offers two options as far as links are concerned: A 'text link' and a 'buy button'. The Buy Button tab, Step 3, is a relatively straightforward screen, as you can see from the image below:

Selecting your 'Buy button':
This tab presents you with a whole range of 'buy buttons' of different styles, sizes and colors - you simply need to select the button that you would most like to appear on your site. There are currently 37 different buy buttons, and more will be added over time. To choose the one that you want - the button that best matches the color/style of your own website, just check the radio button in front of it.
Selecting a 'text link' instead of a button:
You also have the option to create a simple text link, if you don't want a graphical buy button. Below the list of graphical buttons, you will see an option entitled "I want to use a text link". To make use of this option, simply check the radio button adjacent to it, then type your desired link text in the box below it.
As a default, the system will suggest link text (in the link text box) following the format: "Buy {Title} as a downloadable audio book". So, if the audio book is titled "Case of the Abducted Asphalt", the link text will read "Buy Case of the Abducted Asphalt as a downloadable audio book". You can of course replace this default text with the text of your choice.
Proceeding to the Next Step:
In the bottom-left corner of the main page detail (center screen), you will see a button labeled "Next". Clicking this button navigates you from the current step to the next step (within the SellDirect wizard). As well as progressing you through the script generation process, clicking "Next" also saves your changes up to that particular point.
You will also get a chance to save all of your changes for a particular script at the end of the SellDirect wizard process (in Step 8).
Saving / Canceling your Changes:
If you look at the bottom of this screen (and the screens for the remaining Sell Direct steps) you will see two buttons on the bottom right portion of your screen, "Cancel" and "Save Changes". Their functions are as follows:
"Cancel" Button: This button allows you to return to the main sell direct page without saving any changes you may have just made. If, for example, you change your mind, you can abandon your proposed changes by clicking the "Cancel" button. Only by clicking the "Save Changes" button (details of which are below) will you commit your changes.
"Save Changes" Button: This button saves any changes you might have made to the current SellDirect script, and then returns you to the main SellDirect page, which displays the list of existing SellDirect scripts.
