Step 2: Title

In order to create the SellDirect scripts for a particular audio book, you need to select that audio book from the thousands available. The title tab contains a powerful search tool for finding the title that you wish to create a script for, as illustrated below:

The search facility allows you to search for the desired audio books using the search criteria below:

Title

This offers you the option to search for a specific word in the title or description of the audio book(s). The full title could be entered here also, which would result in an exact match should the title be available.

Category

This lets you perform a search within a specific category.

Author

This lets you perform a search for audio books written by a specific author.

Narrator

This narrows your search to those audio books read by a specific narrator.

Publisher

This lets you perform a search for audio books by a specific publisher.

Price

Narrows your search to titles within a specified price range. Click on the drop-down menu and select from these options:

Format

You can also search by the audio format of the audio books. The options are:

Sort Results

Choose to have your results ordered by one of the following:

Performing the search:

Once you have entered your desired search terms, simply click the button labeled "Search" to commence your search.

You can search using any of the criteria listed above and you may combine the criteria as required. For example, if you want to find the free audio books from the Humor category, just select Free from the Price drop-down and Humor from the Category drop-down, then click on the "Search" Button. It goes without saying that the more criteria you specify, the narrower the list of titles you will see returned by the search.

Having clicked the "Search" button your results will be displayed after a few moments, below the search facility, as illustrated below:

Note: Whilst your search results list may show multiple titles, please remember that you can only create SellDirect scripts for one title at a time.

Selecting the chosen title:

To select the desired audio book (for which you will be generating your SellDirect link/button), check the radio button in front of the audio-book title.

Proceeding to the Next Step:

In the bottom-left corner of the main page detail (center screen), you will see a button labeled "Next". Clicking this button navigates you from the current step to the next step (within the SellDirect wizard). As well as progressing you through the script generation process, clicking "Next" also saves your changes up to that particular point.

You will also get a chance to save all of your changes for a particular script at the end of the SellDirect wizard process (in Step 8).

Saving / Canceling your Changes:

If you look at the bottom of this screen (and the screens for the remaining Sell Direct steps) you will see two buttons on the bottom right portion of your screen, "Cancel" and "Save Changes". Their functions are as follows:

"Cancel" Button: This button allows you to return to the main sell direct page without saving any changes you may have just made. If, for example, you change your mind, you can abandon your proposed changes by clicking the "Cancel" button. Only clicking the "Save Changes" button (details of which are below) will you commit your changes.

"Save Changes" Button: This button saves any changes you might have made to the current SellDirect script, and then returns you to the main SellDirect page, which displays the list of existing SellDirect scripts.
