Selecting and reserving your desired domain

Checking provisional  availability of your preferred domains:

To check your chosen selection of possible domains you will need to visit any of the domain registrations sites online which feature an availability checker. Three examples of such sites include:

www.directnic.net

www.godaddy.com

www.getdotted.com

In each of these three examples, there is a simple text field on the page into which you can type your first choice of domain, before clicking the go/submit button. This will give you a detailed list of which domain suffixes (.com, .us, .org, etc) are still available, if any, for your specified domain. Furthermore, some sites even make intelligent suggestions of alternative domains based on your initial search criteria.

So, as you search you will likely find new ideas and possible domain choices. You will need to note your top three choices ready for submission to Spoken Network.

Submitting your chosen domains to Spoken Network:

To select and reserve your preferred domain (under which your Partner System will operate) you must visit the following website URL:

www.build-an-empire.com/domains

On this page you will find a simple form that needs to have the following information supplied:

First Name

Your first name

Last Name

Your surname

Primary Email Address

Your primary email address - please ensure that this email address is the same you used when purchasing your Partner System.

Domain Choice #1

You're first choice of domain. If available when we process your submission, this will be allocated to you for the duration of your participation in the Spoken Network program.

Domain Choice #2

If your first choice is unavailable when we come to processing your submission we will allocate your second choice of domain to you, if available.

Domain Choice #3

If your first and second choices are unavailable when we come to processing your submission we will allocate your third choice of domain to you, if available.

Once you have filled out the form with the necessary information above, click the button labeled "submit". This will send your choice of domains to Spoken Network for processing.

All domain requests received are dealt with in the order in which they are received. If, therefore, a domain request is made before your request, and for the same domain(s), then the earlier request will likely receive the preferred domain if still available. It is therefore imperative that in order to give yourself the highest possible chance of securing the domain you require, that you submit your domain request as early as possible.

Can I submit a domain I already own?

No. Spoken Network owns and operates the domains of the partner sites within the Spoken Network program. This ensures a level of protection for the publishers whose content we offer through the system, and also ensures that in the unlikely event that a partner is unwilling or unable to continue their participation within the program (and so wishes to terminate their Partner Agreement) the past customers of that partner's site will continue to receive the service they require (e.g. access to their download library, support, etc.) long after the particular partner has relinquished control of their Partner System. All rights to the customer information, content on the relinquished partner site and the affiliates of that particular Partner System will revert to Spoken Network in the event of termination of a partner agreement.

What if none of my preferred domains are available?

In the event that all three of your preferred domains are unavailable (perhaps having been allocated to earlier domain requests) we will contact you by email (at the address you specified in submitting your preferences) to inform of this fact, and to request an additional three choices of domain which we will attempt to register for use by your Partner System. Every effort will be made on our part to expedite this process as swiftly as possible.
