Sales by Date:

The 'Sales by Date' report is another very important view of your sales as it allows you to track the growth of your business over time. Not only will you be able to get a month-by-month overview of your sales totals, but you'll also be able to drill down into the detail of each month and see how the sales panned out, day-by-day in any specific month too.
And that's not all! You can even open up the figures for an individual day, and see what individual title sales your daily sales totals were made up of.
Where this might be particularly handy is when you're tracking the impact of a particular promotion you ran, emailing you sent out or Coupon Code you posted on your Home Page. You'll be able to see in a flash what the impact of these activities was on your 'bottom line' using this reporting tool.
To load the "Sales by Date" report, in order to view sales figures by month / day, you need to select the link entitled "Sales by date" under the Reports section of the left navigation menu, as shown here:

This will load the Sales by Date page, shown below:

As you can see in the image above, the sales are presented in an easy to understand table, with the following columns: Month, Sales, Price, Discount and Commission.
Month This column displays the month and the year.
Sales The "Sales" column displays the number of sales for each audio book.
Price This is the selling price of the audio book.
Discount If the audio book has a discount applied, the amount of this discount will appear in this column.
Commission This column displays your commission, which is the percentage from the selling price you earned on sales.
At the bottom of the table you can also see the total for each column.
More detail - Total Sales by Day (within a given month):
To obtain sales figures for a given month, (broken down by individual days) you simply need to click on the name of the month, in the "Month" column. This will load a new page, displaying the sales for each day from that specific month, as you can see below:

The sales are again presented in an easy to understand table, with the following columns: Date, Sales, Price, Discount and Commission.
Date This column displays the individual days within the chosen month.
Sales The "Sales" column displays the number of sales for each audio book.
Price This is the selling price of the audio book.
Discount If the audio book has a discount applied, the amount of this discount will appear in this column.
Commission This column displays your commission, which is the percentage from the selling price you earned on sales.
Again, at the bottom of the table you can also see the total for each column.
If you want to go back to the "Sales by month" page, you just need to click on the "Back" link, found on the left side, at the bottom of the table.
More detail - Full List of Individual Title Sales (within a given day):
To obtain individual title sales figures for a given day, you just need to click on the date, in the "Date" column. This will load a new page, displaying the sales for that specific date/day, as you can see below:

The sales are once more presented in an easy to understand table, with the following columns: Title, Publisher, Price, Discount and Commission.
Title This column displays the title of the audio books sold on that day.
Publisher The "Publisher" column displays the individual audio-book's publisher.
Price This is the selling price of the audio book.
Discount If the audio book has a discount applied, the amount of this discount will appear in this column.
Commission This column displays your commission, which is the percentage from the selling price you earned.
At the bottom of the table you can also see the total for each column.
If you want to go back to the previous page, you just need to click on the "Back" link, found on the left side, at the bottom of the table.
