Sales reports are crucial to understanding where your sales are coming from. As well as giving a detailed breakdown of where your sales revenues are coming from they can also reveal valuable information about the success, say, of a particular promotion you ran. Similarly, they may reveal underlying purchasing trends that you didn’t even know existed – but that once you do, you can capitalize on and grow your sales to the next level.
There are several reports available to you, each focussing on different areas of information:
Sales by title View your sales, listed by individual products. Perfect for identifying your top-selling titles.
Sales by date View your sales figures by date. Track your sales performance over time.
Sales by affiliate See who is selling your titles for you - reward top performers, identify your strongest affiliates' reasons for success and pass these secrets on to your under-performing affiliates.
Sales by customer Find out who is actually buying your content - thank them... perhaps even give them a special coupon code as a reward! Ask your top purchasers to fill out a survey which will help you improve your service and potentially sell to more customers in the longer term.
Customer List A full list of all your existing/past customers.
Customer Lookup Search for an individual customer's details.
Affiliate List A full list of your affiliates.
