ListMail Pro Setup
Again, the first step is choosing your preferred list management application, in this case ListMail Pro.
To select it, you simply need to click the radio button next to ListMail Pro. Having made your selection you should now click the button labeled "Next". Clicking in the Next button will load the following screen with instructions:
If you don't already have ListMailPro setup, you can get it by going to www.listmailpro.com You will then need to install it on a server.
Once you have installed and logged into your copy of ListMailPro, in order to channel your customer data efficiently (and to enable the sending of tailored messages to specific groups of customers, at differing stages of your sales process), you need to setup four separate lists by clicking on the New List button at the top.
1. Prospects List For this list you will want to turn on the double opt-in message and the welcome message (which you can edit). Then save your list.
2. Free Customer List For this list, turn off the double opt-in message and (optionally) the welcome message.
Turn on the check box that says "When users are added to this list remove them from the following list(s):" and enter the id for your Prospects list.
Save your list, and then click on the Custom Fields button at the top and name the first three fields:
Then save your list again.
3. Paid Customer List Again, for this list, turn off the double opt-in message and (optionally) the welcome message.
Turn on the check box that says "When users are added to this list remove them from the following list(s):" and enter the ids for both your Prospects list and your Free Customer list.
Save your list, and then click on the Custom Fields button at the top and name the first three fields the same as you did for the Free Customer list:
Then save your list again.
4. Reviews List For this list, turn off the double opt-in message and the welcome message.
Save your list, and then click on the Custom Fields button at the top and name all of the fields:
Then save your list again.
After following exactly the steps above, click on the "Next" button found at the bottom left of the screen.
This will load the page below:
You will notice that on this screen all you need to do is enter the URL for adding users and the number of the four lists and any customers will automatically be added into your responder system.
This is the final step to integrating ListMail Pro with your Partner System. Upon entering the required information you may click the button labeled "OK" to save your settings and close the Autoresponder Setup screen (returning you to the default Partner Administration page).
