Customization

Within the Spoken Network Partner Administration site, one of the most important sections is undoubtedly the Customization section. This section allows you to completely customize, tailor and target your site to your own specific requirements - to make it your own and differentiate it from those of your competitors. It goes without saying that a polished, professional and accessible store-front will result in a higher conversion rate of customers than a poorly-executed one.

Within the customization section there are several screens - each of which affords a level of customization over a specific aspect of your Spoken Network site; be it text, images, categories, layout or another feature. The screens are described briefly below:

Skin Setup

This is where you change the color-schemes, fonts, layout, inclusions/exclusions, graphics and more - generally everything to do with the overall look and feel of your site.

Customizable Text

Change the text labels used throughout your site to your preference.

Meta Data

Fine-tune your site meta data and optimize your site for the market you're targeting.

Special Pages

Edit the (static) Special Pages accessed by customers from the header menu tabbed buttons.

Custom Pages

Create completely new pages on your site for linking to via custom links on your footer, in your copy and in the custom Nav bar.

Custom Links

Create custom web-links to specific products and/or pages within your site or indeed pages off-site as required. These links can be displayed in the page footer and/or the custom Nav bar.

Footer Links

Change the settings for which custom pages and/or custom links are displayed in your site footer.

Custom Nav Bar

Change the settings for which custom pages/links are displayed in the Custom Nav Bar (displayed on every page, if selected in your site layout options).

Home Page Popup

Specify whether or not you require a 'pop-up' page to appear and, if so, what you would like on this page. You can edit your pop-up from this section.

Category Descriptions

Change the displayed category heading and descriptions in this section.

Category Filter

Filter the titles available on your Partner System site - useful for focussing your business in a specific market.

Autoresponder Setup

Setup and configure a plug-in to an existing email list management application so that your customers are automatically added to your mailing list(s).

You will need to carefully read the instructions within each of the component screens to make sure you get the most out of the customization features. It is well worth taking time over making changes to the different sections in the Customization part of the Administration site, since the changes you make now will potentially be viewed by thousands of customers.
